Get to Know the Biggest Zipline of Minas Gerais
For those of you who love adventure and live in Belo Horizonte or want to visit the capital of Minas Gerais, take advantage of the city’s newest attraction.
The Zip Line BH is, nothing more, nothing less than the largest Zip Line in Minas Gerais, as the title of this post makes very clear, rs.
It was inaugurated on 12/4/2016 and is already super crowded! So it is better to buy it in advance as it can run out. When I went there, I saw several people without scheduling who could not get down because they had already crossed the limit for that day. And it was weekday!
So let’s go! The attraction is for adults (maximum weight allowed is 254 pounds) and children from 5 years. The jump is made from the beautiful Mangabeiras Viewpoint (which is in the neighborhood of Mangabeiras). The course, which extends for 875 yards and can reach up to 62 miles per hour, ends at the Sports Square of Mangabeiras Park, one of the largest urban parks in Latin America. An interesting fact is that there is a van responsible for the transfer of parking from Mangabeiras Park to Mangabeiras Viewpoint and this service is also offered for those who will not make the zip line. So, do not worry about how to get your car back on the Lookout after the zip line.
The route allows an incredible panoramic view of the city. Super recommend it!
Be sure to enjoy the view of the Mangabeiras Lookout right next to the point where the jump is made.
In the Mangabeiras Viewpoint, there is a good structure with bathrooms, snack bar, and wi-fi. So those who do not want to go down can enjoy and relax in the bar. Just watching the cabin and waiting for the most courageous escort to return with the van, rs.
It is not allowed to use your photographic equipment on the descent. If you want to register your moment of adrenaline and fun, just hire the service offered by Aerofilms and do not miss anything with GoPro! They provide the camera for the jump, edit the video and then it becomes available to you on their website. The amount charged is R$25.00 and the result you can see down here (be careful with the volume of the computer, because there comes shouting !!).
Next to me in the video is Raquel Alice from Blog Te Vejo Por Aí, a dear who had a special affection for me while I was in BH. It was her first time on a zip line, and although I have done it a few times, we scream the same way! Oh yeah, because it’s always exciting!
